Good Health Requirements

For the safety of every animal in our care, all pets must be in good health prior to surgery. Each pet will receive a physical examination by one of our veterinarians before surgery. Spay Arkansas reserves the right to decline surgery if a pet is determined to be at increased medical risk.

If your pet is showing any signs of illness before their appointment, please contact us to reschedule.

Please note: due to increased anesthetic risks, we are unable to perform surgery on brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds, including Pugs, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Bullmastiffs, and similar breeds.

To request your appointment, you are required to pay a deposit amount of $20 for cats and $65 for dogs. In the event you do not show up for your appointment, this deposit will be forfeited to our clinic. This deposit is non-refundable but applied to services at the appointment. No shows cause severe financial damage to our charity. Thank you!

Appointments may be fully booked at this time. If no availability is shown, please check back later for openings.
